We are a human family of 2 adults and 3 children. Throughout
the course of our lives, we have owned many different breeds.
From Boxer to Shelties to Staffy, Dobermann, Kelpies and
the beloved Beagle.
It was the Boxer that stole our hearts...HANDS DOWN!!!
(WELL...... for most of us....Bethany has decided that a basenji is
her special breed. Click on A Basenji for the story on that one!)
Campaigning our dogs is an activity that our whole
family enjoy and take part in, in some shape or form. We attend shows together, support and encourage each other, and celebrate
with one another. The children like to take part in Junior handling at most shows.
Bethany has been the sole handler of Fizzy, the Basenji, and they have
developed a strong love of the show ring together. Bethany is also a member of the Basenji Club Of Victoria.
Our dogs are very important members of our family! We're
pretty much a doggie family. However, we don't consider ourselves over the top or think we have stepped over the line of reality
as yet....
Our Boxers are treasured members of our family. They
are doting babes for the adults and true friends and playmates for the kids.
Their proud and noble carriage is a sign of their
confident and protective spirit.
The enthusiasm they display revitalises even the grandparents!!!!
Imogen is the Secretary of The Mildura and District Kennel
Club as well as the Merbein Kennel Club. She is also a member of the Lake Boga and Swan Hill Kennel Clubs, Murray Valley Dog
Obedience Club, Boxer Association Of Victoria as well as , of course, Dogs Victoria.
Imogen along with Boxer Maisy, is our regions Pet Education Officer
with the Department of Primary Industries' Responsible Pet Ownership Program. This is a very rewarding position, not to mention
invaluable teaching to our younger generation.
We are committed to exhibiting and promoting Boxers of an
excellent standard and believe that by doing so, we are involved in continuing, and accelerating the excellence of the pure
Boxer.
